New Position at West Fork –Middle School Special Education
Education Background –I grew up in Denver Colorado and graduated from Pomona High School. I attended the University of Northern Colorado and earned a degree in Business Management. I earned my teaching certificate form Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. I completed my Special Education Instructional Strategist II endorsement form University of Northern Iowa and Morningside College.
Previous teaching experience – I started my teaching career in Special Education with the Nampa Idaho School District on the campus of the Idaho State School and Hospital and at Gateways High School. I taught there for 3 years before moving to Iowa. For the last 7 years, I have been teaching K-12 Special Education at North Butler in Greene and Allison.
Interests / Hobbies: My family and I enjoy the outdoors. We like to explore new places, camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and much more. We have had as many as 11 Alpacas on our acreage, but currently only have 2.
Why I am excited to be joining the staff at West Fork –I am very excited to join the West Fork Team. I have a couple of friends working in the district and they have always said that West Fork is a great place to work, with a great student body, and a supportive administration that always strives for superior student achievement.
