Monday, Feb. 2 was the first week of grade checks for Middle School and High School athletic eligibility. Grade checks will be run weekly through the end of the quarter for both Middle School and High School.
A representative from Jostens will be here to meet with the Freshman class about class rings on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026 during Warhawk Time. The meeting will be in the little gym. Freshmen will need to have their phones with them for the meeting.
There will be a High School Boys' Track meeting on Thursday, Feb. 5, during Warhawk Time in Mr. Hovenga’s classroom.
Any girls interested in going out for Football Cheerleading next year (including current 8th graders), please stop in the office to pick up a packet . Tryouts will take place in the spring.

Attention students: Any athlete interested in participating in boys or girls soccer this spring should please contact Mr. Borchardt via email as soon as possible.
We will no longer be in a co-op sharing agreement with Mason City for boys soccer. The girls program is undecided at this time on whether we will continue with Mason City or join both programs with a new school. At this time, we are exploring options with other schools to serve as a host school, but we need to gauge student interest and numbers first.

Cody was at the school all day a few weeks ago, observing classes to see which class demonstrated our SOAR expectations the best(teachers and students were not informed this was why he was here). It was a hard decision as many classes were in the running. We are proud of our students for making West Fork proud! Keep up the good work.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Applications can be picked up at the front desk during regular business hours.
