Applications for class officers and the student council for the 2026–2027 school year are now available.
Students in grades 8-11 may pick up an application in Mrs. Ubben's room. All applications are due by Monday, April 27, 2026, at 3:20 PM.
Voting will take place electronically on April 30, and the first meeting for newly selected class officers and student council members will be held at the beginning of May.

Any 6th & 7th grade girl interested in playing Jr. High Softball, there will be a mandatory meeting during WarHawk time on Friday, April 24th with Coach O. Practice and game schedules will be handed out at this time. If you can’t make it, please email Coach O at carrie.oconnor@westforkschool.org.
Any groups wishing to fundraise during the Sheffield 150th Celebration on June 27th are encouraged to fill out a vendor application and return by April 20th. These forms can be picked up in the High School office or at Sheffield City Hall.

Katherine Holmes was a recipient of a Scholarship from NASP and the Iowa DNR.
The academic archer scholarship is open to anyone who participates in the archery program. The state gives 8 girls and 8 boys this scholarship every year. The only requirements are that you participate in Archery and maintain good grades while doing so. The West Fork archery team takes academics very seriously and cannot think of a better recipient of this award. Congratulations Katherine!
Kathrine will be able to transfer this scholarship to any school anywhere in the country once she graduates.
Middle School Health students picked up trash today as a part of their Environmental Health Unit.
Mrs. Schmida and Mr. Prestidge spent the day at UNI exploring the 2026 Social Emotional Conference.

NIACC is offering a host of different health camps this spring and summer. The first one is our partner Radiology Technology program. This will be a free camp, but we will need the students to register with the link provided.
