8th grade students in Mrs. Lage's Creative Writing class have been learning about poetry. This week, they wrote concrete poems, also known as shape poetry. Concrete poems use the arrangement of words to create the shape of the subject that is being written about. Students were asked to choose a subject that was interesting or meaningful to them.

If the student lives in the Rockwell-Swaledale EMS service area, they may be able to take the class at no cost to them! They need to reach out to Adam ASAP to verify eligibility.
